Jonathan Harris este profesor de Istorie a Bizantului la Universitatea din Londra (Royal Holloway). Domeniul de cercetare: istoria Bizantului intre 900 -1460, relatiile Bizantului cu lumea occidentala in timpul Cruciadelor si al Renasterii italiene, diaspora greaca dupa 1453.
